These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of products and services offered by Nordic Ville Home Studio, and any related digital products, memberships, or services offered under the brands Nordic Ville, Nordic Ville Home Studio, The Home Studio, Homes for Abundant Living and Leanor Loui Johannaberg (together, “we,” “us,” “our”), founded and operated by Leanor Johannaberg. By enrolling in, purchasing, or otherwise accessing the Program, you (“Member,” “you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not enroll in or access the Program.
2. Educational Purpose
The Home Studio is an educational program. Content, coaching, templates, workshops, community discussion, and any other materials provided as part of the Program (the “Content”) are intended solely for general educational and informational purposes related to planning, designing, and building a home. Nothing in the Program is intended to replace individualized professional advice specific to your circumstances, property, budget, or jurisdiction.
3. No Professional Services
We are not a licensed architecture firm, engineering firm, contractor, financial advisor, tax advisor, or legal practice, and nothing provided through the Program constitutes architectural, engineering, structural, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice. You remain solely responsible for engaging appropriately licensed and insured professionals — architects, structural engineers, surveyors, contractors, solicitors, financial advisors, and similar — before making any binding decisions, entering contracts, or beginning construction. Any guidance, feedback, or design ideas shared by us or within the community are illustrative starting points only and must be independently verified and approved by qualified professionals in your jurisdiction.
4. Member Responsibilities
As a Member, you agree to:
Provide accurate registration and payment information and keep it up to date.
Use the Program and its materials for your own personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed with us in writing.
Comply with all applicable local laws, building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements in your jurisdiction.
Conduct your own due diligence, including independent professional verification, before acting on any Content.
Behave respectfully toward staff and fellow Members, in line with our Community Standards & Code of Conduct, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Results Disclaimer
Any examples, case studies, timelines, budgets, or outcomes referenced within the Program reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees of similar results. Building, buying or renovating a home involves many variables outside our control, including but not limited to site conditions, local regulations, contractor performance, material availability, weather, and personal financial circumstances. We make no representation that any Member will achieve any particular result, cost saving, timeline, or outcome by participating in the Program.
6. Intellectual Property
All Content — including videos, written materials, templates, worksheets, frameworks, branding, and curated community discussions — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Enrollment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content for your personal use only. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, publicly share, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Content without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and legal action.
7. Membership Access
Access to the Program is granted for the duration specified at the time of purchase (for example, a defined program term, or a recurring membership period such as the Home Studio Advisory). We reserve the right to modify, update, expand, or discontinue parts of the Content or platform at our discretion, while using reasonable efforts to maintain the overall value of the Program for existing Members. Access is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, or resold. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, without refund, for breach of these Terms, including breach of the Community Standards & Code of Conduct.
8. Payments
Fees for the Program are as set out at the time of purchase and are payable in accordance with the payment schedule presented at checkout, including, where applicable, recurring membership billing. You authorize us (or our designated payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details remain valid and current; failure to do so may result in suspension of access. All prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
9. No-Refund Policy
Except as required by applicable law — including any statutory withdrawal rights available to consumers under EU and Danish consumer protection law for distance contracts, where applicable — all payments for the Program are non-refundable once access to the Content has been granted. This reflects the fact that digital and educational content is delivered immediately and cannot be “returned.” Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies and you have not yet accessed the Content, please contact us within the applicable statutory period to exercise that right.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Program, including decisions made or actions taken based on Content. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Program shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the European Union and of your country of residence, where applicable. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have to bring proceedings in your own country of residence as a consumer.
